Earth Day Dallas is an annual, free, two-day festival that seeks to elevate environmental awareness and influence the way North Texans think, live and work. Through exhibits, entertainment and education for all ages, we hope to inspire our community to lead a more sustainable lifestyle.  

Earth Day Dallas will be held at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas and will utilize approximately 600,000 square feet of event space. Additional information regarding Fair Park can be found by clicking here.

Earth Day Dallas will take place on Saturday, April 20, and Sunday, April 21, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.  

Earth Day Dallas is an admission-free event. Third-party vendors will have food and beverage items available for sale. Certain attractions on the Fair Park grounds, which are not directly related to the Earth Day Dallas, may charge admission or usage fees. Vehicle parking is $10, but we encourage attendees to take the DART's Green Line to Earth Day Dallas.  Bike parking will be available inside the Park.  

Fair Park has numerous attractions such as the African-American Museum, Museum of the American Railroad, Museum of Nature & Science/TI Founders IMAX® Theater, Children's Aquarium at Fair Park, The Hall of State, Texas Discovery Gardens, Texas Museum of Automotive History, South Dallas Cultural Center. Concessions will include everything from organic and vegan food options to favorite festival treats. Beer and wine will also be available for attendees that are 21 years of age and older. 

Waste collection will be performed during the event and managed according to the following hierarchy:

• Reduce generation of discards
• Reuse / return / donate
• Recycle / compost
• Dispose

Performance monitoring, data tracking, and comprehensive waste reporting data will be implemented by EDD.

Yes, EDD is pet friendly, however, pets will not be permitted in indoor-event venues.  Please remember to keep your pet on a leash and bring the appropriate environmentally-friendly, pet-waste disposal bags.

EDD encourages attendees to use DART’s Green Line to the Fair Park stop, which lets passengers off between Gates 3 and 4. Another stop is located around the corner from the event on Trunk Street. Click here to visit the DART website to view maps and train schedules.   

Please park in the general lots at Fair Park. Fair Park will charge $10.00 per car to use their facilities. Bike parking is provided inside the Park. Parking maps can be found by clicking here.
